Laina and Mantis

Laina quit going to school half way through grade 8 and never went back. She started using drugs and working the streets at a very young age. When Laina found out she was expecting Mantis everything changed.

Abbotsford Series Project is an art/film/design initiative, part of the Homelessness Action Plan by the City of Abbotsford, with a goal to foster community awareness, decrease stigma associated with those experiencing homelessness and increase understanding of a community-based resource approach to homelessness.
